August Burns Red has been performing head-bang-worthy tracks since 2003. The Lancaster, Pennsylvania, natives have had a stellar two decades since their self-released demo. The “thrill seekers” had dropped nine highly-acclaimed studio albums, including their breakthrough album, Messengers. Moreover, the quintet consistently topped Billboard’s Christian albums chart with every release. In 2015, August Burns Red’s seventh album, Found in Far Away Places, topped three Billboard charts, including the Top Rock and Top Hard Rocks Albums. Meanwhile, the album also debuted at number 9 on the Billboard 200.
This 2023, August Burns Red is set to drop its tenth studio effort, Death Below. They also celebrated their 20th anniversary since emerging into the music scene in 2003. The upcoming tour is anticipated to feature materials from all their ten albums, including the forthcoming release. In a statement, guitarist JB Brubaker reminisced on their early touring days. “Where does the time go? I can remember playing 250 shows a year and touring in our van like yesterday.” Brubaker also expressed his gratitude to the fans. “We are so grateful to have had the support of our fans year in and year out for two decades. We thank you and cannot wait to celebrate with you!”
