With the stage name DaBaby, Jonathan Lyndale Kirk rose to fame in 2019 with his debut studio album, Baby on Baby. Hailing from Cleveland, United States, DaBaby had released several mixtapes between 2014-2018, but his real breakthrough came in 2019. His second studio album, Kirk, debuted at number one while the first one peaked at number seven on Billboard 200. He recently made an appearance at 50 cent’s set at the Rolling Loud festival in New York. He has thoroughly expressed that 50 cent is one of his inspirations and Eminem and Lil Wayne. He has now worked with two of his favorites which is a massive achievement in itself.
His energy is unmatchable, and his lyrics are a work of pure genius. His highest-charting song, Rockstar, stayed for seven non-consecutive weeks at the number on the Billboard Hot 100. His fans, however were a little disappointed with some of his remarks last year in Miami. DaBaby acknowledged his mistake and apologized to the public for his hateful comments. He will be performing in major cities, including Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Detroit, alongside Denver. If you’re looking forward to a crazy rap night, make sure you buy your tickets right now before they sell out!
