Architects 2025 North American Tour

One of Britain's most influential metalcore bands of today is heading to Denver, Colorado. On August 8th, the legendary band Architects will take the stage at Fillmore Auditorium with heavy riffs and uplifting the fans with their energetic performance.

The North America tour follows the release of Architects' 11th studio album The Sky, The Earth, & All Between. The special guests are two incredible and very fitting bands, ERRA and Holywatr.

Headliner

Architects is a British band from Brighton, England. Formed in 2004 by twin brothers Dan (drummer) and Tom (guitarist) Searle. The original band members included vocalist Matt Johnson, guitarist Tim Hillier-Brook, and bassist Tim Lucas, and released the debut album, Nightmares, in 2006, leading Architects to tour with Beecher and Bring Me The Horizon. By 2007, Johnson and Lucas left for other commitments and were replaced by lead singer Sam Carter and bassist Alex "Ali" Dean.

With the new lineup, the metalcore band released a split EP with Dead Swans. The EP featured two tracks from Architects, "We're All Alone" and "Broken Clocks," and was greatly praised by top rock and metal media outlets, Metal Hammer, Rock Sound, and Kerrang!. The EP led the band to sign a three album deal with Century Media Records in 2008. Under the new record deal, Architects released studio albums Ruin, Hollow Crown, and their monumental fourth album The Here And Now. The album was led by the hit single "Day In Day Out," which landed in position 41 on the UK Indie charts and 17 on the UK Rock charts. With a new commercial approach to their music, the album debuted at number 47 on the US Top Heatseekers Album charts. The album's singles "Learn to Live" and "Heartburn" became global fan favorites since.

It was the band's fifth album, Daybreaker, that gave Architects a more global access through tours across 25 countries in Europe, Asia, Australia, and US. The album had a set of successful hit singles too - "These Colours Don't Run," "Alpha Omega," and "Black Blood." Shortly after the release, guitarist Hillier-Brook left the band in pursuit of other projects.

With a new record deal under Epitaph Records, Architects released their sixth and Seventh studio albums, Lost Forever // Lost Together (2014) with hit single "Naysayer" and All Gods Have Abandoned Us (2015) led by single "A Match Made In Heaven." In 2016, original and founding member Tom Seale was announced dead due to cancer. His conditions were never made public, however, the band later noted that the track "C.A.N.C.E.R" from Lost Forever // Lost Together was a reference to Searle's struggles with his health. His impactful legacy and musical capabilities were recognised in the "In Memoriam" segment at the BRIT Awards 2017. Later, guitarist Josh Middleton became the band's new full time member. In the same year, Architects won the "Best Album" at the Heavy Music Award for All Gods Have Abandoned Us.

Architects' next big monumental chapter came in 2020 when they released a new hit single, "Animals," for their ninth studio album, For Those That Wish To Exist. "Animals" received "Best Metal Record" from the American Association of Independent Music. To debut the album, the band performed a special livestream show at the Royal Albert Hall in London with a live orchestra. Upon release, the album topped the UK and Australian album charts at No.1. Other album singles are "Dead Butterflies," "Black Lungs," and "Meteor."

Architects have released 11 studio albums and 33 singles to date. The band has toured with rock and metal big shots as supporting act and headliner with Deaf Havana, The Devil Wears Prada, Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, The Ghost Inside, As Blood Runs Black, Whitechapel, Suicide Silence, Enter Shikari, Every Time I Die, and Northlane. They have a global fan base and Millions of monthly listeners on Spotify alone.
