It’s time to cash ‘em out, baby! The one and only BABY KEEM is dropping his new album “CA$INO” real soon. This April, he’s kicking off a massive 36-date tour — down to serve up big nights of hits, crowd favorites, and new music live on stage. As the man behind the 4x Platinum and Grammy Award-winning single “Family Ties,” the rapper and record producer has been making rounds since his rise in the late 2010s. Back with a new record that follows his 2021 release “The Melodic Blue,” fans have expressed much excitement as they waited four years for new material in a full LP. It’s bound to get wild as he hits the road.

ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM

In a trailer shared ahead of the album’s release, stitches of various clips straight from the studio + home videos & family interviews show a bit of a background about his new project. One of the interviews included Lamar — Keem’s second cousin who collaborated with the man over the years for his hits, including “Family Ties,” “The Hillbillies,” and “Range Brothers.”

“I understood the hardship before he was born—just the history of our family in general. We don’t call ourselves the hillbillies for nothing,” Lamar shared in the trailer.

While Keem has been quite silent after The Melodic Blue era, aside from a Coachella performance and a single “Leavemealone” with Fred Again, fans are surprised to hear about the new album release happening real soon. 

BABY KEEM’S RISE 

Raised in Las Vegas, Baby Keem’s rise is attributed to his contributions to Black Panther: The Album, led by his cousin, Kendrick Lamar. In 2019, he gained further recognition with a sleeper hit “Orange Soda” that received a 4x Platinum certification from the RIAA. His debut studio album “The Melodic Blue” hit #5 on the Billboard 200, proving that he’s one of the biggest names to rise in the hip-hop scene. His hit single “Family Ties” won a Grammy for “Best Rap Performance.”
