YEA YEA YEA YEA  Denver that’s the sound of us singing along to Boys Like Girls right here for their epic reunion tour this season. FILLMORE - are we FEELIN’ the emo pop revival in the air or what?! It’s finally Spring and the flowers are coming out again - and we’re HYPE ‘cause we’re counting down the days ‘til Saturday the 21st for when the one and only Boys Like Girls take over The Fillmore Auditorium for what’s set to be one of the biggest and most nostalgic nights the city’s seen in YEARS. And if you know then you know : it’s the Soundtrack Of Your Life Tour, AKA a full-blown celebration of two decades of anthems, heartbreaks, and teenage dreams. AKA - a show you really don’t wanna miss folks. And to make things even sweeter? They’re bringing along iDKHOW and Arrows In Action for the ride to set the stage off right for the night. So you already know… it’s gonna be one big sing-along kind of night. And more importantly - we want you right here with us for it all. 

Formed in Boston in the mid-2000s, Boys Like Girls shot to fame during the golden era of pop-punk and MySpace rock, cementing themselves as one of the defining voices of that late-2000s sound. Their infectious hooks, emotional storytelling, and crossover into pop radio gave us a soundtrack that still hits to this day. And now, fresh off the release of Sunday at Foxwoods (their first album in over a decade), the band’s ready to prove that lightning really can strike twice. Johnson told Idobi Radio, “We spent a long time rediscovering what Boys Like Girls sounds like now — this tour is about honoring the past and showing people we’re still right here.” It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Boys Like Girls on a headlining run this massive - so if you forgot about them, we won’t blame you. After all it’s been over a decade, to be exact, and the guys are going ALL OUT for this one. “We wanted to make this tour something that really means something,” frontman Martin Johnson said in a recent interview. “The idea was to revisit the records that made us who we are, and celebrate them with the people who lived through it all with us.” And celebrate we will folks: playing their 2006 self-titled debut album and their 2009 classic Love Drunk in full every night.

So Denver… you know what this means. We’ve been SUMMONED -  dust off those old graphic tees, get the eyeliner ready, and let’s make March 21st one for the books. Because when those first chords hit and the crowd sings that opening line — “Stay awake, get a grip and get out, you’re safe…” — you’ll remember exactly why Boys Like Girls were, and still are, the soundtrack of your life.
