It’s forceful, it’s raw and real, and it’s about to deliver metal punches straight to the gut. It raises hell, rains hardcore, doom, and extreme fire, it mauls, it destroys, and it crushes. It’s the metal meltdown any metalhead is after; mayhem and music that you won’t ever forget. 

This year, Decibel magazine is bringing you the best of the best, the loudest of the loudest, and the most extreme of the extreme once more - from the resurrection of sludge gods and headliners Acid Bath to NOLA metal scene hellraisers Eyehategod, from hardcore conquerors Deadguy to doom destructors Primitive Man, from doom and sludge crushers Conan to chaos kings Necrofier. All of this is slated to go down 6 December 2025, following an equally brutal day of music and mayhem on 5 December 2025. To match, Decibel is bringing in the most metal breweries to quench that unmistakable moshpit thirst, such as 3 Floyds Brewing, Magnanimous Brewing, WarPigs Brewing, Zymurgy Brewing, Black Sky Brewery, Brimming Horn Meadery, Black Circle Brewing, Jukes Ale Works, Hammerheart Brewing, and Ratio Beerworks, among others. 

Acid Bath

The headliners for 6 December 2025, Acid Bath, will be raining metal fire upon Denver for the first time in three decades - resurrected, reinvigorated. Dax Riggs’ sludge outfit is slated to deliver the causticness of their music to both the old guard and the new disciples with massive amounts of muscle and intent, with guitars twisting between shimmering solos and the lurking violence, with vocals shifting between harsh screams and haunting melodies, with thunderous riffs and blasting beats. Whether you’re in the moshpit for Scream Of The Butterfly and Bleed Me An Ocean, scream your lungs out in Tranquilized and Cheap Vodka, or feel every gut-punch of The Bones Of Baby Dolls and Finger Paintings Of The Insane, you’re in for one hell of a time.

Millions of metalheads have moshed, raised fists, and belted at the iconic Fillmore Auditorium before, and this winter will be no different.
