Grandson’s new song tackles the crazy effects of the internet on people today. Sending everyone a ‘brainrot,’ what seems to be amusing on the surface might actually be something more sinister in the long run. 

“BRAINROT is about the distraction of the internet, the way our attention span is weaponized and attacked by technology companies to prevent any real momentum building on the pressing issues of our generation,” he said in a release. 

Making the track with two of his best friends in the industry, the track calls out online overconsumption in a striking commentary about social media. A rabbit hole that much of the earth has fallen into, “Watch, ’cause you’re looking at the mess you’re in / This phone is a mirror, and I am just a reflection,” he sings.
