Mudvayne rose to promience in the 2000s during the rise of nu metal era. The band fuses progressive, alternative, rock and metal creating a unique sound that absolutely stood out during a time when plenty of bands were emerging with the same concept. Mudvayne found incredible commercial success with the release of their debut album, L.D. 50. But it was their later works that definitely showed the band’s incredible longevity. Their 2005 album, Lost and Found peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200, becoming their highest charting effort to date.
