Since it aired in 2009, Ru Paul's Drag Race has taken over the world, with shows now running in the UK, Canada, Australia, Spain, Thailand, Philippines, and more. The impact of Drag is genuinely revolutionary and has opened awareness to how its art can be as important as other forms of art. Over the years, the show has showcased the best in Drag through an uplifting and hilarious opportunity for performers to display their uniqueness and charisma.
Moreover, the show was able to bring the excitement of television entertainment through its "War On Catwalk Tour." Like the RuPaul's Drag Race Tour, War on Catwalk is a touring show that features drag queens from the "RuPaul's Drag Race" empire worldwide, performing comedy, dance, music, and lip-syncs.
The North American leg of the tour will kick off July 7 in Detroit and runs through Aug. 20. It will make its fabulous stop at Fillmore Amphitheater this August 5. It will be hosted by the American drag queen and television personality Miz Cracker, who is best known for placing fifth on the 10th season of RuPaul's Drag Race and being a runner-up on the 5th season All-Stars edition.
The tour features queens from "Drag Race," "RuPaul's Drag Race UK," "RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under," and "Canada's Drag Race": The Vivienne, Krystal Versace, Kita Mean, Kornbread, Priyanka, Icesis Couture, Jimbo, Kylie Sonique Love, Denali, Crystal Methyd, Heidi N Closet, and Olivia Lux.
